GSTR-3A is a notice issued for default in filing GST returns. The department gives it to the persons supposed to file GST returns but has failed to file the same. There is a time limit of 15 days from the date of receipt of notice to reply.
Show cause notice or SCN is a notice which is issued to a person for allowing him to explain with reasons for any default before taking action against him.
There is no prescribed format for the reply of the GST show-cause notice. However, it should contain the relevant details and any supporting documentation to serve the purpose of the response.
